New VSS project not viewable in SOS

Post by douknownam » Fri Mar 23, 2007 9:18 am

We are currently experiencing an issue with SOS where a new project folder isn't visible. The project was created in VSS, which we can all access and view, but not in SOS. I saw in another post, with duplicate project folders appearing, to delete the databasex.sos file and regenerating the project tree. This works, but if there a simpler solution? As I am administering over 160 offsite users, so this work-around wouldn't be efficient. We are using v3.5.3 of SOS, TIA.

This is an SOS issue, so I'm moving it to the SOS forum.

You probably just need to refresh the project tree, which updates the cache.

This is in the SOS GUI Client under View->Refresh Project Tree. You should do this from the parent folder of the folder that was added, or you can do it from $/ root, which may take longer (unless root is the parent folder.)
