How do we run reports on the repository to get reports?

I need to be able to get custom reports on usage & check-ins etc...is there a way I can get it?

There is some limited reporting capability in SOS 4.x. Show History on a project, then click the Report button to generate a .csv file with history information.

This will show checkins, but not files added. SOS is limited by the information is provided through the SourceSafe Automation Component. SOS Server uses the Automation Component to communicate with the VSS database.

For a more comprehensive history report, you can use the SourceSafe client's Show History command.
