We were having a problem with a new application that we added to source control. Just to cut to the chase, we attempted to delete the repository, thinking to add a new one, start a new project and place it under source control. After a very long time passed, the server was inadvertently rebooted during the delete process (which we don't think was completed yet). Anyway, now we can't get a list of repositories when we open Vault Admin. Also, we are getting error messages when we open Vault Client - can't seem to retrieve any repositories.
Any suggestions on what we might do? At this point, it probably would not be too much problem if we had to start from scratch, but we really need to be back up and running soon, either way, even if we have to uninstall and reinstall, although hopefully it won't have to be that drastic.
Help please!!
Thanks so much -

That doesn't sound very good, as the database could be in a bad state.the server was inadvertently rebooted during the delete process
Do you have a good backup you can restore?
What error do you get when you try to log in?
Anything helpful in the Vault Server log? It's sgvault.log in %windir%\temp\sgvault.

Things seem to be ok now!

Thank you so much for the quick reply. While I was waiting to see if I heard any response we decided to reboot the SQL server as well as the server where Vault Admin resides. The repositories showed up again and things seem to work like they should. Opened some of the projects and everything looks ok.
So, it looks like we can consider this closed. I will still look at the log files and see if there is anything that can tell us what happened.\
Thanks again!
