Is it possible to integrate Vault with devlopment environments that don't have native support for Vault? I'm interested in making the switch from VSS, but integration with various embedded IDEs may be any issue. Every IDE or editor we use has support for VSS. Most have support for various CVS implementations. But none support Vault.
Vault looks like a great solution otherwise, but I'd probably get lynched if I took away the IDE integration that everyone is currently used to...
Thanks,
Greg
Vault integration with IDEs that only support VSS

Vault currently supports integration with VS.NET 2003, VS 2005, VB 6 and VC ++, plus Dreamweaver. Eclipse integration will be supported in Vault 4.0, coming this summer.
The Integration API provided by Microsoft is common across all IDE's
but is not being used in a similar manner -- the sequence of calls might be different, for instance. For this reason, we only support IDE's we have thoroughly tested with Vault.
Integration might work with a non-supported development environment, but if there's a problem, we can't be of much help.
For unsupported IDE's users can do source control operations with the Vault GUI Client and continue development in the tool of their choice.
