Hi,
I really would appreciate it if all requests whether to overwrite/merge/keep files on disk which are read/writeable could be collected and presented in a list, so I don't have to click several times on OK. The "apply to all" checkbox is nice, but then it may also overwrite some files I would like to keep. So a "preview" dialog where I can see the files which would be overwritten and set some of them to "merge later" would really really be nice.
To help you better understand what we are doing: We are developing a big .NET application and are adding the most current assemblies into vault, so people don't have to create every assembly themselves.
But if you want to build any of these yourself, you have to make them read/writeable and get the overwrite-request on that one the next day. Most of the time I'm doing recursive get's and if I say "apply to all" some of my still checked out source code may get overwritten
A second problem is, that we "obliterate" old binaries every night and get a "overwrite"-request for each binary.
PS: Totally differend but as previous vss user a bit annoying: It would also be nice to have a shortcut (like Ctrl+f) to compare two selected versions in the history window.
But overall I really like SourceVault. Much better than SourceSafe
Feature request: "overwrite" request list instead
