Error checking in file

I just added the new AJAXToolkit.dll file to my bin directory. When I do a checkin on the file I get the following two errors:
"Files could not be mapped to the Vault Project $/SiteName/Bin"

"Failed to check in one or more files. Some files remain checked out or not added."

Anyone have an idea why I would be getting this error?

It's possible that the client lost connectivity with the server, or the checkin failed due to a problem uploading the file.

Are there any errors corresponding to the failure in the Vault Server log (sgvault.log in %windir%\temp\sgvault on the server machine)? Anything that indicates a system restart?

I rebooted my client machine but that still didn't help.

Looking at the log file I found the following:

VaultFileUpload.aspx encountered: an exception while calculating the CRC for AddFile. Error in the application.

Something is interfering with the upload. Could anti-virus software or a network device (firewall, router) be blocking the file because of file size or type?

Can you upload the file using a client on the Vault Server machine, connecting to the server with "localhost?"
