VC++.NET integration

Post by GrahamLabdon » Mon Jan 15, 2007 2:31 am

Perhaps you could help me.
I have installed demo versions of Vault Client and Vault Server.
I am running Visual C++.NET 2003 standard v7.1.6030
The .NET Framework is v1.1.4322

In Vault client I have selected ‘Make Vault your Default SCC provider’

However, I cannot see any source control menu options in Visual C++.

I have searched your support forum and have tried various things suggested there, such as toggling the ‘Make Vault your Default SCC provider’ setting.

I have noted that selecting this option has the following effect on the Registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/SourceCodeControlProvider/ProviderRegKey is set to SOFTWARE/SourceGear/Vault Client
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/VisualStudio/8.0/CurrentSourceControlProvider/ProviderRegKey is set to SOFTWARE/SourceGear/Vault Client
No entries are made under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/VisualStudio/7.1 (IE THE VERSION I AM USING)

Please can you tell me what I am doing wrong
:?: :?: :?:
Thanks
Graham Labdon :cry:

XP Professional SP2

The .NET Framework = v1.1.4322
Vault client = 3.5.0.4741 (full version, not demo)

The standard or stand-alone versions do not support source control integration:
