Moving files from one repository to another, including hist

My company is considering using multiple repositories to break out our current projects from their current single repository. Is there a way to move an existing folder structure from one repository to another, and still retain the full history of the folder and all the files in it?

Starting with Vault 3.5.0 we have an import/export tool that will do what you are looking for. If you are not up to that version yet, you may wish to take a closer look at the Vault 3.5.0 release notes and the Vault 3.5.1 release notes. If you have Gold Support, the upgrade is free. You would just need to contact our sales department to get new licenses to enter.
