I have a profile setup in Vault. In the vault client I can check
Automatically connect using this profile
At some point this stopped workin in Visual Studio. Now every time I open a solution it says
The username or password supplied is invalid
And then displays the Connect To Server screen.
How do I get it to automatically use the profile in VS2005?

Is your setup of Vault using Active Directory Authentication? It could be that if your Windows password was updated that it didn't transfer to the profile.
If that's not the case, I'd first suggest just recreating your profile. If it doesn't appear to be getting the correct profile, you can add list the profile to use manually: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=2474.

RE: Default Profile w/ VS2005
I have recreated the profile and it still does it.
Had you tried your profile separately with Vault? If it works in Vault, then you will want to go back to the previous link I posted and follow the instructions there.
So, you're using your Active Directory login with Vault it sounds like? If so, then if your Active Directory login changed, then that's what you would use for Vault. Trying the profile separately with just Vault will tell us if you have the right information entered.

What version of Vault are you using?
