Vault Client randomly crashes.
Vault Client Version: 3.1.9.3798
.Net Framework Version: 1.1.4322.573
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Service Pack: 2.0
OS Version: 5.1.2600
The client crashes it seems in very sparatic times, not always during the same operation. I have had it crash when I first logged in but most of the time it's during a 'get lastest' of a large folder or when multiple files are being downloaded or during a 'view history' of a file.
I have checked both the client log and the server log with debug turned on and no errors or warnings are logged.
The last time it crashed:
client log: 1/5/2007 10:51:32 AM <connection>: [Main:1764] HistoryBegin started.
server log: I do not have access to the exact text anymore, but it was something on long the lines of 'HistoryBegin: return success'

Are you in a different location than rest of the clients that connect?
Can you check your Event Viewer for any corresponding errors?
What could be different about your client versus the others would be hard to say right away. You might want to Clear the Client Side Cache and restart Vault on your machine in case just something has gotten out of sync, or perform an uninstall and fresh install of your client. If you reinstall, pull the client directly from the server by browsing to http://<vault server>/vaultservice.
Would it be possible for you to send the server log to support at sourcegear.com?

I get the following error is the Event Viewer:
Faulting application vaultguiclient.exe, version 3.1.9.3798, faulting module hlcap.dll, version 1.2.5.0, fault address 0x0000224e.
There is nothing different about the locations of the computers, I am about to try to uninstall are re-install the client provided by the server, I have re-installed but not this version.
