SourceGear Vault API vs. SCC API

I'm using Vault as my source control tool and I am using HomeSite+ as the IDE. HomeSite+ uses the SCC API.

Is the Vault API different than the SCC API?

Does Vault support HomeSite+ ?

I'm developing coldfuion webapps.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

We don't support Homesite+, but that doesn't mean you couldn't try it and see what happens.

If you go to our KB article index, http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=792, and look for the heading Client API, you'll see we have 4 articles pertaining to the Vault API that may help you.
