Is it possible to break a share without creating a new file?
Example:
i have 2 share folders:
$/Folder1
$/Folder2
now i decide to break from folder2 one file a.cpp. what i did is selecting a.cpp from folder2 and using "branch". I have to enter a new filename which creates a new file.
Isn't there a possiblity simply to branch a shared file at some point?
Thanks
Roland

You can branch a shared file, but in this case the folders are shared, and files are secondary shares. This means the files themselves are not shared, so any branch operation would be a copy-branch.
When you share a folder, every change to Folder1 will also happen to Folder2. It's not possible for the contents to be different.
If you want the contents of the folders to be different, you can branch the folders. Or you can create another folder and share files into that folder so the files, but not the folder are shared.
