How To install SOS Server on VISTA

PROBLEM
------------

"The SourceOffSite 4 server service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or prgograms"

RESOLUTION
---------------

1. Right click c:\program files\sourceoffsite server\servicemgr.exe server folder and under compatibility tab click run as administrator

2. Using this EXE, Re/Configure since all settings are reset

3. Start the service

Thanks for the info. We haven't tested SOS on Vista, so we don't support it yet. But it's on our TODO list.
