Change date in history

Hi,

I am looking for a way to change the date of the latest checked in files in the history with the API. I want to do a program that will set the date for a list of file in the history but the date is not the current date but a date before.

There is nothing in the API which allows the change of a date once it
has been added to Vault. In normal usage, the date is controlled by the
server.

A version control tool won't be of much use for "control" if you can rewrite history.
