In MS Vss explorer, if you grab a file from one folder, you can drag and drop it into another folder. This does create a share but some people in our group do this in order to move files then they delete the version in the folder they copied from.
This functionality does not seem to exist in SOS client. Is it available? I know users can simply just do a Get Latest Version the Add the files but this saves some steps.
Could you let me know if this can be done on the client?
Also, I think I can just use the Source > Share option if you cannot drag and drop, is that correct?
Thanks,
Mark
Copying files to other folders - SOS Client 3.5.3

Dragging a file to share it into a different folder is not supported in SOS Classic. However SOS 4.0 does support the "move" operation for projects or files. To do this, select the file or project and then select Move under the File menu.
You need both the SOS 4.0 server and client for the Move operation.
If you have SOS 3.5.3, then the workaround is to move a file by using Source->Share and then deleting the unwanted share.
