A required resource file could not be found on your computer

I am running automation test that requires SOS to start up during the automation run; the process is started by a batch file. The setup was successful and I am able to start SOS manually, but when I try to run the batch file to kick off SOS I get this message on the dos screen -

"A required resource file could not be found on your computer. To resolve this issue, run setup to repair your visual sourcesafe installation"

I am connecting to VSS 6.0 and SOS 4.1.2. I have tried on crytography and no crytography and I still get the same error message.

Please advice.

Can you give me the command, with user and password altered or marked out, that you are using?
