Hi, after importing SourceSafe into SourceVault I can see that we've had 12 users over the past few years, although we'll only be wanting 5 active users, so would only want to buy a 5 seat licence.

Question 1) Can we have 12 users, but only have 5 active for the 5 seat licence? This would be important to keep history on who did what.
Question 2) In coming months/years people may come and go, can we deactivate users and create new users to replace them (i.e. won't need to buy new licences).

I guess what I'm really asking is, if we buy 5 licences, does that mean we can have as many users as we want, but only 5 active at any one time?

You would only be able to have 5 active users listed in the Users Tab of the Admin tool. The rest would have to be marked inactive.

For example, if user1 leaves the company and user6 is hired. You'd mark user1 inactive, and mark user6 as active.
