Logging function not working on Vault Server
Server Information
Vault Server Version: 3.5.0.4741
.Net Framework Version: 2.0.50727.42
Operating System: Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Standard Edition
Service Pack: 1.0
OS Version: 5.2.3790
SQL Version: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.1399.06 (Intel X86)
Oct 14 2005 00:33:37
Copyright (c) 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation
Standard Edition on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 1)
We have previously being on version 3.1.8 when we noticed that no entries were being written to the log file. We have since upgraded to version 3.5.0 but the problem still exists. There is no change if we change from quiet mode to debug mode.
The sgvault.mdf file is 9.8GB while the sgvault_log.ldf is 90GB !!!!!
Any ideas on how to get this working again?

This post have information on what to do about large logs: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=6202&
Sorry, forgot to say something about that. You are saying there is nothing at all in that file? In the same location, are the archived logs with anything in them? You will want to check the permissions on the temp folder to ensure that whatever account Vault is running under (depends on your install) has read/write permissions.
This is a further discussion on the large .ldf file: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?p=27070

there are 15 archived log files present in the c:\windows\temp\sgvault folder. The current sgvault.log file was last modifed on the 30th of May 2005. No activity has being written to the log since then. logging is set to debug mode. I have changed the permissions on the Temp folder to include the domain admin account with full control.
On the issue of the LDF file being 90 GB.we have changed it to simple recovery mode and this issue looks to be resolved.
