404Problem logging into Web Client, Admin Tool, Client GUI

We get a consistent error when logging into the Vault Web client, the Admin Tool and The client. A 404: Object not found error.

We are running version 2.0.2.2163 of vault. The login always fails after the user name and password portion of the login.

The client web login error is a generic 404 error: The page cannot be found.

The errors are similar in both the admin and client GUI.

We are running Windows 2000 with all the recent updates and SPs.

We have tried to install Vault every way we can think of.

Do you get the same error when you try to access
http://<vaultserver>/vaultservice/vaultservice.asmx?

Do you have anonymous access enabled in IIS?

Are you using IIS lockdown?

Have you run through the steps in this KB article? My guess is that the apsx web service extension is not allowed.

Thank you for all you help.

URL scan was installed (as part of IIS lockdown.) I uninstalled it and the site fired right up.

I will try the updated version and let you know if it works.
