Hi,
My colleage and I are working on the same project and are trialling vault at the moment. He is adding the solution to Vault and I will be opening it from source control but we've encountered a problem.
He has his solution file and website files all in the same folder, with the "phyicalpath" attribute in the solution file linking to the root folder ("D:\SomeFolder\SolutionRoot"). He has added it successfully to the vault repository.
When I try to open the solution from source control through VS2005 IDE, I get the error message: "The solution includes one or more projects that could not be mapped to a local directory. These projects could not be retrieved and will be marked as unloaded"
Please help!!

What model are you using for your web projects -- the built in web site project in VS 2005 or the web application model (works like VS.NET 2003)? Details here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/asp.net/refer ... fault.aspx
Did the user add the project with the Vault GUI Client or with "add to source control" from VS 2005?
Are all project files in a single folder in Vault and also in a single folder in his local directory?
