How to switch between repositories

Post by boomessh » Thu Aug 31, 2006 12:57 am

Hi all

I am using VS2005 and i have integrated vault with VS2005. I usually open Vs2005 and use File--> source control --> Open source control option to open a repository. Now with in the same IDE i close the solution and i need to open another project in another repsoitory. But now when i use File (earlier option) i don't get a option to switch between repository.

How will i accomplish it?

Thanks,

Once you have connected to a particular repository, Open From Source Control will only give you access to the same respository. Close Visual Studio and re-open, then when you Open From Source Control, you'll have the repository choice.

Note: Once you have opened a project from Source Control, the project will have bindings to the proper repository. You don't need to open it from source control again. Just use File->Open Project\Solution or double click the solution file in your working directory, and you'll be automatically connected to the appropriate repository.
