Yet another VS Web Project question

Post by Bjackson » Fri Aug 25, 2006 3:28 pm

Hi,

I'm fairly new to using Vault, but i have no problems with normal code projects within VS2005.

I'm quickly losing my hair and patience however trying to setup a Web Application Project.

I simply want to exclude my gigantic images folder from source control, which I could only do by excluding it from the actual VS project, but in addition, whenever I close VS, I wind up with renegade .csproj files, my resharper files won't save etc.

I have read everything I can find, but nothing seems to resolve my issues. Is there one succinct article to show me how to setup a web project?

It seems crazy to me that this is so difficult.

Thanks,

b

PS _ I realize that most of these difficulties are on the VS2005 side, but the pain is the same.

Here's a link to a blog that discusses web projects and how to deal with large image directories:

Hope that helps.
