showing what's checked out

Post by Smith » Wed Aug 23, 2006 11:43 am

I'm a fairly new Vault user....

Is there a way to display the list of everything I have checked out in the source tree? And also to show everything that is checked out by anyone/everyone? I can't see any feature for this in Vault client (GUI or command line). However, I am using version 3.1.9. Is it in 3.5?

(I know VSS does it by means of a search. And Source Depot has it. It's hard to live without....)

Thanks.

Yes this feature has been in Vault for some time. Select the Search button at the bottom of the Vault GUI Client. You can search by files status or file name. If you search on "Checked out by" you can search for files checked out by you, any user, or all users.

You can also right-click in the results pane, select all, and copy the results to a text file.

Doh! I didn't see that... right in front of me. Thank you very much.
