Hi, there,
The SOS server we are using is 4.02 version. Can we use the 4.12 client to access to it? Do we need to upgrade the server to 4.12?
For the server upgrade, is it required to unistall the current old version first? I can not find the "SourceOffSite 4 Server entry" in the "Add/Remove Programs" (in the control panel), could you please give me some suggestion on doing the uninstallation?
Thanks in advance.
How to upgrade the SOS server from 4.02 to the 4.12 version?

An SOS 4.1.2 client can connect to an SOS 4.0.2 server, but most new features will not work, as they may rely on having a 4.1.2 server. For best results, SOS client and server should be the same version.
You can upgrade by running the SOS 4.1.2 Server installer over your current SOS Server installation. You can also run the 4.1.2 installer to upgrade your clients, without uninstalling. This is a free upgrade, since you already have SOS 4.x
