Hello, I've been working with VS2005 and Vault 3.1.x, but now I have to work on a VS2003 project with Visual Source Safe. However, when I start VS2003 and attempt to do anything Source Control related - Vault always comes up. How do I get VS2003 to still work with VSS, while VS2005 can work with Vault?
Thanks

In the Vault client, under Tools-Options-General, you can uncheck "Make Vault Your Default SCC Provider".
In Visual Studio, I set the options for one of the SCC providers, get my project opened and bound to the source control. Then I open my next project and changed the SCC provider. When I went back to the first one, it was not forced to switch to the second SCC provider.
Setting the SCC provider in Visual Studio is done in Tools - Options - SourceControl - Plug-In Selection.
