Vault does not work because of IIS

I am really frustrated with IIS.

I had Vault running fine for a few weeks but then it stopped working for remote systems. So I checked the webpage on localhost and it keeps prompting for a username and password.

I have tried everything to make it not ask for a username and password. I have deleted the account, set no password, remade the logon account, checked and unchecked the anonymous access thing. No matter what I do it asks for a username and password.

I am pretty sure this is why Vault is not working for internet users.

Now my keyboard is not working for the apostophe key either. I am about to explode here. Arrg.

I figured it out. It is because somehow the account got removed for accounts allowed to access the directory wwwroot.
