licence.licx problem in Vault 3.1.5

I had the same problem as http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=3068

I applied the solution that was given in that topic and excluded the licence.licx from Vault. This was done with VS2005.

The problem that I have now, is when you just want to view a form that uses a 3rd party control, it automatically checks out the form. This only happens for forms with 3rd party controls (licence.licx).

Any ideas on how to solve this?

The above links helped. It seems to be an issue with VS2005 and not VS2003. It seems like Microsoft will only fix this in the next version. They have suggested a work around which helped. http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStud ... kID=123332
