Duplicate folders in project tree

On occasion, my SourceOffSite project tree will display each folder twice. I've attached a screen shot. Long ago,

I found a solution in this forum, which entails deleting the cache file and rebuilding the project tree. I am running 4.1.2.

Is there a fix to this problem (other than deleting the cache file)? Perhaps in the next release?

We're not sure what causes this and haven't been able to reproduce it in house. At the present time, deleting the databaseX.sos file and downloading a new project tree is the best solution.
