The SOS Server 4.0 don't support chinese folder of VSS DB

SOS server service won't start if the VSS Database file path include chinese character.
The following is from the server log file.

2004-3-31 10:31:13 - E:\\IMDSĿ\\IMDS_SourceCode\\srcsafe.ini does not exist!
2004-3-31 10:31:13 - Invalid or no databases to support.
2004-3-31 10:31:13 - Error starting up server. Stopping now....

Visual SourceSafe 6.0d English version.
Windows XP Pro Eng SP2, v.2082
SOS SERVER 4.0

I hope the next version of SOS 4 can support both chinese and english file path of the VSS Database file.

Thank you for the report. I'll log this as a bug and we'll see what it might take to fix this.

We've had a number of users who are using Chinese language, so it would be a good thing if we can resolve this.

The log of creating a project with chinese character in SOS.

When I try to create a project with a chinese character name, the sos client tell me that "Operation failed - $//测试".
The log.txt log the operation.

Visual SourceSafe Version 6.0d (Build 31222) English
Windows XP English, and the "Regional and Language Options" was set of chinese to support to input and display chinese character in the system.

I can use the Visual SourceSafe Explorer create a chinese folder in the VSS Database sucessfully (Does not through SOS server and Client), but when I use the Sos client to display the content of the folder with chinese name, sos client says "No such file or project:$/测试"
