VB 6.0 and Vault 3.1.8

Hi,

I have a problem here.

I check in a VB6.0 activex project in Vault, and it works fine for few check in.
Now, I have this problem, and that is what happen:
(1) I try to check in without comment ( get some message )
(2) I add the comment and re check in again
(3) Vault del all files in the project, and it is an empty project (files still in HD).
(4) I roll back, get the latest from client tool, and reopen the project.

Now, I cannot run the project, and cannot save the project -- "input past end of file: whatever file name"

Any help???

Vault del all files in the project, and it is an empty project (files still in HD).

That's strange.

Try backing up your working directories and doing a fresh open from source control from the Tools->SourceGear Vault->Create Project from SourceGear Vault.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply; It does not work. I have problem to load each file into the project.
I find out that some of those VB6.0 binary files (*.frx and the *.vbp) size do not match our backup server. After I restore them form the backup server, the project is fine now.
You are right, it is weird. A lot of time, I forget to add comment while checking in and it causes no problem.
