One of our client installations is getting the following error when trying to log onto our main repository:
"CryptoAPI cryptographic service provider (CSP) for this implementation could not be acquired"
All other installations are functioning ok.
We are on v3.1.9 of the client and server.

I just noticed the KB article says to do this on the server machine, but you are seeing this on the client machine. If you do the same steps on the client, does it help?

I've had a look and the client machine and the file prefixed with "edb3...." does not exist on the local/client machine.

We have found a fix for this issue - the user's windows profile appears to be partially corrupt.
Thanks for your help.
