Error using VS.NET 2005 plugin: "Unexpected error...&qu

Post by brogers » Wed Jun 07, 2006 3:02 pm

This error occurs when attempting to bind a new project to an existing VSS folder.

This is a brand new 4.1.2 installation being used for the first time.

Using the SOS client directly appears to work fine.

Hello,

You stated that you are attempting to bind a new project to an existing VSS Folder. What are the steps that you are taking to bind the new project? Is this a web project?

Thanks,

1) Created new windows-forms-app from VS.NET 2005

2) Selected File -> Change Source Control -> Bind, on newproj.sln

Try the "Add solution to source control" functionality instead of the change source control. Since this is a new file, changing source control and binding the file isn't necessary.
