VSNET 2003 and VSNET 2005

Post by tcarternyc » Wed May 31, 2006 12:53 pm

Hi,

I have the Vault installed (Vault Client Version: 3.1.8.3771) and I want to make it the default SCC provider for both VSNET 2005 and VSNET 2003. So far, I have been able to make it the default SSC Provider for VSNET 2005 only. Can someone assist me with getting my setup to work?

Thanks in advance.

In VS 2005, the source control provider is set within Visual Studio.

For VS.NET 2003, this is a registry change that is made in the Vault GUI Client under Tools->Options->General->Make Vault your default SCC provider.

I found that changing the option in the Vault Client does allow my VSNET 2003 environment to work properly.

Thanks!
