File exclusion won't save

I have a Dundas chart control that adds .png files to my project. I'd like to exclude *.png from SourceGear because it's locking the files and also because I just don't need them version controlled since they are dynamically created charts. When I open up the admin tool and select my repository, I'm adding ";*.png" to the end of the file exclusion list. When I hit apply I get a popup letting me know clients may need to be restarted to catch the change. As soon as I hit "OK", the exclusion I just typed disappears. For one, is this the right place to add the exclusion and if so why won't it accept my change?

The Admin Tool alphabetizes the list of extensions. See if *.png appears in alphabetical order.
