Vault and the MS Access Source Code Add-In

Post by phenderson » Tue Apr 25, 2006 3:07 pm

Hi,

I'm using Vault to manage an Access database. It works great with the Access Source Code Control Add-In, however, each time I start up the application I get prompted to check out several different objects. I figured it had something to do with my start up routines, but it's asking me to check out things that don't have anything to do with my start up stuff. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Vault doesn't support integration with Access, and we haven't tested it here. Although an integrated development environment (IDE) may use the same integration .dll, it may not be implemented in the same way for each IDE. The sequence of calls may be different, for instance. That's probably why you're getting the unexpected behavior.

If other Access users are using Vault and have found workarounds for this, feel free to add your comments.
