Co-exist Vault 2 & Vault 3 on same server
Hi, I trying to install Vault 3 on a Vault 2 Server Vault 2 on SQL2000 and Vault 3 on SQL2005. I'm having some trouble doing this. Is this supported?

Thanks,
Also can a vault 3 client access a vault 2 server? If we still have Vault 2 for .NET 1.1 projects and Vault 3 for .NET 2.0 projects.

Vault 2.x clients can not communicate with Vault 3.x servers. However you can install both versions of the client on the same machine:

Thanks, are there any guidelines for installing both clients on the development machines? The developers have the following configurations.
VS 2003 & VS 2005
SQL Server 2000 Dev & SQL 2005 Dev
.NET 1.0 / .NET 1.1 / .NET 2.0 Frameworks.
Vault 2.06 Client
We'd like to separate .NET 2.0 developments onto the vault 3 server. When installing the v3 client its prompt for the location of where v2 is. Can we just install to another location and we won't have any problems with the different versions of Visual Studio picking the correct version of vault to use?
