About DiffMerge Tool encodings-simple Chinese
I use simple Chinese language files.
But I can't set GBK or GB2312 character encodings in the DiffMerge Tool.
so I need GB2312.SO or GBK.SO.
where can I find it? thanks a lot!

About sos4.1.2 sgdm encoding gb2312
Hi!
Thank you for your help.
But the system shows - "could not load character encoding module 'GB2312' ".
I have copied the gb2312.so to the path "/iconv/" and added the "gb2312" to the option->encoding.
PLZ help me!
If I want to use Japanese which encoding file I should get?
Thanks!

What version of SOS are you using? This .so file only works with SOS 4.x and the sgdm.exe that ships with that client. Look in Help->About SOS for the SOS client version and if you do have the sgdm.exe, launch that and look in Help->About for the version of the SourceGear Diff/Merge, SGDM.exe.

Based on experience we had in the Vault forum, it looks like you need two .so files. See this thread:
http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=5969
GB2312.so actually depends on another encoding called gb_2312-80.so. So, you need to install the gb_2312-80.so file into the same inconv folder, and then gb2312 should load. It is in the attached file.
