Hello,
My development team and I are consistently running into a problem where the Visual Studio Pending Checkins window states that we have files checked out that aren't checked out to us. Attempting to check in a file that we don't have checked out results in an error message stating that the checkin failed because the file was not checked out to me.
The vault client properly displays the files that we have checked out.
Unfortunately, there are no real steps to reproduce the problem as all we do is close Visual Studio and reopen it to see the problem.
The weirdest thing about this problem is that the files that Visual Studio says that we have checked out are files that neither of us have ever touched. This is backed up by the Vault History command.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. We have a workaround but wanted to make you aware of the problem.
