Connect timeout

Just switching from SOS to Vault. I am connecting Vault through an ISA sever that automatically demand dials a VPN tunnel to the server. The VPN connection takes a few seconds to initialise and the Vault client always times out. The second connect attempt suceeds.

Is there anyway I can change the connect timeout vault is using?

Vault uses a timeout of 2 hours for all its web service calls (except for Logout, which has a 5 second timeout so the client can close quickly). I don't think this timeout applies to the actual HTTP socket connection, which is what's failing. I don't think we have any control over the timeout used there.

You might look around Microsoft's site for some sort of adjustment that might keep Windows from telling Vault so quickly that the network is unreachable.
