When I use Source Off Site (version 4.1) I experience many connection drops. It's true that the server is rather far away- more than 10 hops- and the drops happen all the time. I'm able to reconnect, but I'm getting plagued by Popup dialog boxes upon disconnect.
Does anyone know why this is happening.
My current Keep Alive is set to 2 minutes.
-Thanks in advance,

Are you connecting to an SOS 4.1 server?
What messages are in the pop-ups? Are they SOS-related?
Is there any pattern to the disconnects? Do they happen after a particular period of time, or after certain types of operations?
Are there any corresponding errors in the SOS Server log? It's called log.txt and is in the SOS Server directory on the server machine.
If you can immediately re-connect, then the SOS Server itself may be working properly and this could be a network issue. Something on the network may be closing the connection, despite the keep-alive signal.
Is your connection "flaky?"

That seems rather alarming, but we've found it to very generic message, and not very helpful.Index was outside the bounds of the array
Send me a copy of the log.txt file and maybe there's something else of interest.
Email it to linda at sourcegear.com, with a link to this post in your email.
