Window Positioning Bug with left-side taskbar
This behavior affects Vault Client 3.1.7 (3719).
I run a dual monitor setup and I have chosen to place my task bar on the left side of my left (primary) monitor. (I doubt a dual monitor setup is a factor here, however I note it for completeness. The described behavior exists if I run Vault on either monitor.) With this setup, I find that any vault windows that remember their position starts up in a position offset to the right by the width of the taskbar. Reproducing this behavior trivial:
1) Open Vault and align the main vault window - non-maximized - to the left side along the taskbar. Close Vault and re-open it. Note there is now a gap the size of the taskbar between the window and the taskbar. Repeat and you'll find the gap widens again.
2) Open the "check-in" window. Cancel and re-open it and notice the same behavior.
I don't have an exhaustive list of all windows which are affected by this behavior. While this bug doesn't prevent me from working, it is very annoying when windows travel across my screen far enough that I often need to move the window to access the OK/Cancel buttons of a dialog.
Your assistance with this would be most appreciated!

This is a known issue:

It's reproducible when the task bar is not in its usual location. We have a bug logged to fix this in Vault 4.0. I'll add your "vote."

I couldn't find a roadmap type document on the site... When might 4.0 be available?lbauer wrote:This is a known issue:
