Less obtrusive dialog boxes

Some things I am just finding a bit silly and annoying at the moment, and wondered if something better could be done...

Several Dialogs come up with just an ok button, telling you nothing really important at all - especially the "Your session has timed out - attempting to reconnect". Requires no more from me than clicking ok, it reconnects and away it goes. Could this dialog be swapped for an "informational" window that appears a bit like Outlook 2003 incoming emails window just fading in, stating "you were disconnected - attempting to reconnect" and allows the reconnect to happen without me having to click anything? Several times I've done something and then walked away, only to come back to this message waiting for me.

I can understand you informing the user, but because I don't need to enter my password or anything at all, making me click Ok before you then handle everything automatically seems like a waste to me.

These sorts of things occur in both the Windows App and the IDE addin...

We have a feature request logged for automatic re-connect after a timeout, etc. I'll add your "vote" and bump it up in priority.
