The "connection reset by peer" message in the log file means the socket
closed unexpectedly. This could happen if the SOS Client was exited
during the operation that was hanging or if some third party closed the
connection unexpectedly.
Is there a firewall between the SOS Client and Server?
If so, it may be closing your connection. The SOS Server does not timeout
and close client/server session connections.
Firewalls can be configured to allow only a certain amount of data to pass.
They can also be configured to close connections that have been idle for a
period of time. If there is a firewall, please check how it is configured.
