Does the Vault client allow you to change your password when active directory is being used?
I have set up a test install of Windows Server 2003 running as a Domain Controller. If i run the vault client logging in as one of my test users i am unable to change my password. I get an error dialog with the message "The username or password supplied is invalid."
Are there any settings i need in the web.config or permissions for users to make this work? I did try running the Vault application pool under the administrator account to see if it was missing some permissions but it still behaves the same.
BTW, this is with version 3.1.7 (3719)
Also, related to this, is there anyway to make the vault web pages not require a login if you've already signed into the default web site through active directory? The reason i am looking at this is that we want to use sharepoint for storing documents etc. as well as vault for our source code with fogbugz for item tracking and integration with vault. Unfortunately if i access the sharepoint site which requires me to enter my active directory logon details and then try to go to /VaultService/VaultWeb/ListRepositories.aspx i still get sent to the logon page for vault. This is not a major issue but it would be nice to integrate everything so that a single logon is required.
Thanks, Matt

When Vault is configured to use Active Directory authentication, then Vault uses your network password, which must be changed through Active Directory.Does the Vault client allow you to change your password when active directory is being used?
You can change your password within Vault only when using Vault authentication.
