I did a branch on my code.
I then opened VS2003 and did an open from source control and opened the solution from the new location. It appeared to bring down files from the old location. It then told me to rebind. I looked in the files and they all have the old bindings.
This is a mess. How do I get the branched code open and working in VS2003 please. Are there step by step instructions.

branch problem
I just saw the old knowledge base article about .net 2002.
This did not help.
I really need to move forward and I do not want to trash my Vault db doing so. Are there instructions on how to branch and get it working in VS2003 please.

Follow the Microsoft instructions pointed to by this article: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=1917 to get up and running.
This is a Visual Studio issue, and will exist for any source control tool. It is related to how VS stores binding info. Sorry the inconvenience, but it is beyond our control.

Branch tool
I would have expected you to write a script that would fix the problem. It is not impossible for there to be a menu option in your application to branch that makes the necessary changes.
I think it is a cop out saying it is MS's problem.
