Bug in Vault?

Post by uanmi » Sun Mar 05, 2006 4:00 am

I have tried to unbind and rebind after a branch.
It tries to change the binding from
$/software/project
to
$/software/newproject/project

No matter what I do I cannot stop it added /project to the end.
Is this a bug?
thank you

Can you post more details on the steps you are taking? For instance, in the dialog that comes up to set a new working folder, what do each of the fields say?

Branch

I edited all the files manually and I pray that my db has not been corrupted.

I do not respect your application. There was no mention of this in the online help, and why not? If it is such a well known problem and it happens to everyone who does a branch then surely some warning on what to do and the steps would be helpful.

Trying to act like this problem does not occur is really dumb. You need to tell your customers what they must do to get branch to work. Better yet to do a script that works after branch that fixes the problem.
