Vault 2.0.6
I guess I was hammering too hard. I just deleted about 50 files (shares no longer needed) from the repository, using the UI. While it was working on that, a few seconds later I tried to add about 50 others from within Dev Studio.
I got a popup message "Failed to load resources from resource file. Please check your Setup" from within DevStudio. I now get the same message when I try to connect to the respository from the UI. Other colleagues can connect to the repository that is blocked for me, and I can connect to different repositories on our server.
My conclusion: something about my connection to this repository has been corrupted.
Can anyone suggest what I should do next? Are there files/directories that can be deleted, or ???
Thanks,

Usually problems like this are resolved by deleting the client side cache (see http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=6 for info on where and what it is). But, this will remove your working folders too and the state of the files, so you'll want to restore those and do a Get Latest to get everything back to normal. You might want to rename the cache first, in case that doesn't end up being the problem.
Also, you might want to consider an upgrade to 3.1, which addresses a number of concurrency issues.
