Exception in configuration section handler

I receive this error when trying to connect to server:

An error has occurred. The error message is:
Exception in configuration section handler
(c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322\Config\machine.config line 74)

In addition when trying to access the options dialog I get the following error:
An error has occured. The error message is:
Specified cast is not valid.

vault client version is 3.1.7 (3719)


Any ideas?

Can you log in to Vault from a different machine? Trying to determine if this is client-side or server side.

If this is strictly client-side, did anything change with your .NET installation?

What version of Vault server are you using?
