discrepancy between solution source control info and project

Post by jonm » Thu Feb 09, 2006 11:50 pm

I'm looking for a little help here. I'm new to vault. I just started using 3.1.7 a few days ago. I've branched my code for the first time. Then I checked out the new branch from inside of VS2005 into a new folder. Everything checked out and compiled just fine. However, everytime I open the project is VS2005 I get an error (screen shot attached). Then I can tell that one of my project's project metafile is checkout. So I check it in, everything seems fine. Then when I open the solution again, I get the same error. What do I do?? Any ideas or suggestion would be appreciated.

Is this VS2005? We've not seen this error before, so it might be a new one with 2005.

It may be that when you branched, the source control bindings are still pointing to the original folder you branched from in Vault. This is a known problem in Visual Studio. See http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=1917 to determine whether this is the issue.
