Error while setting working Folder

Post by Sourav » Wed Feb 08, 2006 3:42 pm

I installed Vault Client in a new computer and was able to connect to the server and browse repositories.

When I am trying to set the Working Folder with the option "Force all subfolders to use inherited working folder" it throws the following error message

The process cannot access the file "C:\Documents and Settings\sganguly\Local Settings\Application Data\SourceGear\Vault_1\Client\4832E41E-5D00-4DD1-B959-7C3A6C227989\sganguly\CacheMember_WorkingFolderAssignments" because it is being used by another process.

This is a new computer and no other process was running.

Note: The command seems to be working even though it throws an error message since if I browse to a sub folder it shows the working path as inherited

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

At least one other customer has run into this, and it ended up being a virus checking program that was grabbing access to cache files. Try turning off any background virus checkers (temporarily), to see if this applies to you.
